Our community has helped us run our business for over 12 years - we want to say thank you

Not everyone can afford to spend money on a family portrait when life has other ideas for your money. We completely understand what that is like.
So we’d love to invite families to GWS who would love to come here – but don’t have the spare finances for such a thing – and we’ll give you a free photo shoot and four free prints.
Absolutely NOTHING to pay.
There’s no upgrades, no extra photos to buy we’ll take four photos and you will get those four photos for free.
No catch.

Who are they for ?

Families with children over 8 months old.

Parent (s) must be in all the photos too… it’s a family shoot to do something nice for you all 🙂

What is included ?

We will give you a 30 minute portrait session in our studio just outside Haddington.
We will take different photos – aimed at producing four amazing portraits that we will print for you – all free of charge.

Booking Your free Shoot

We plan to run the Community Photoshoots every month – possibly in the future using room spaces in towns around the county for those that have no transport.
But at the moment they will all be taken in our studio near Haddington/Longniddry.
The first date is Friday 19th May – every half hour from 11am to 4pm.

Use the form at the bottom of this page to apply for one of the spaces – and we will be in touch to confirm your space.

PLEASE do not book a shoot if you cannot 100% guarantee to turn up as we only have 6 places to give out to genuine families looking for a lovely portrait.

The shoots will be 30 minutes max and PLEASE make sure you arrive 10 minutes before your start time as if you are late you might have to miss out and come back another time.

Situated a short drive from Edinburgh, we’re the perfect choice for families who want to get away from the noise of the city for a relaxed and fun photoshoot. Our rural studio has free and easy parking and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, ensuring you’re in just the right mood for your shoot. You’ll see the difference in your photos!
