That’s us, Ali, Leanne & Grahame, the full-time professional photographer family that are GWS photography!

We work together on every shoot, ensuring that everyone we meet is given the greatest care, the nicest coffee and of course… amazing photos!

Grahame has been taking photos since, well, forever! He started off shooting bands and weddings back in the 80s, and we finally got serious and started GWS photography in 2010.

Since then time has flown by. We love meeting new people, getting to know them, and creating them something really special. It’s what gets us out of bed in the morning!

At GWS, being “good” isn’t just about taking nice pictures — it’s about giving every family the best possible experience. Between us, we’ve won over 20 national awards for photography and client care, and Grahame holds Fellowship level, the highest professional qualification in portraiture. He’s even judged national competitions and mentored photographers across the UK. Leanne is a qualified professional in her own right, and Allison brings the warmth and fun that makes our sessions feel effortless.

All that experience means you can relax, knowing you’re in safe hands, no matter what happens on the day.

F.A.Q's

═══ GETTING STARTED & BOOKING ═══
Q: How far in advance should I schedule?
A: Ideally, as soon as you know you want to do this — especially if you’re aiming for a specific time of year, a milestone, or you need a particular day of the week. As a simple guide, around 2–4 weeks’ notice is ideal.

What makes this different is that we’re not trying to squeeze you into a generic slot; we’re planning an experience that feels easy, calm, and genuinely you — the kind where you get to step out of manager mode.

Family and pet experiences tend to fill up fastest on Thursdays to Saturdays, while newborn and boudoir are typically Tuesdays to Thursdays. If you’re not sure what you need yet, that’s completely normal — we’ll figure it out together.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll look at your ideal timing and what would make this feel effortless.

Q: Where does the experience take place — and do you come to us?
A: Most experiences take place in my studio, and for families and dogs we can also use a woodland location close to the studio for something a bit more outdoorsy and relaxed.

The real value of this is choice without overwhelm — you don’t have to decide alone or guess what will “work”. We’ll choose the setting that best matches your people (and your four-legged family member) so it feels like you, not like a performance.

If you’re worried about getting everyone there on time, what to bring, or whether the kids/dog will cope — that’s exactly what I guide you through.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me what you’re picturing — studio, woodland, or a mix.

Q: What makes you different?
A: This is designed to feel like something you do WITH your kids (or your dog/cat), not another thing you do FOR them. No “say cheese” energy. No pressure to perform.

Unlike traditional photography that can feel like organising and managing, I guide you in a way that helps you step out of logistics mode and into real connection — so the portraits feel like you, not like a version of you trying to behave.

Time and again, clients tell me they’re surprised by how relaxed it feels — and how much they recognise themselves in the final portraits.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk about what you want to feel when you look at these on the hard nights.

Q: How do we schedule a Discovery Call?
A: You can schedule a Discovery Call using the short form below — it’s a quick, no-pressure chat to make sure this feels like the right fit.

If you’re the kind of person who’s thinking, “I want this… but I don’t want one more thing to manage,” you’re exactly who the call is for. We’ll keep it simple: what life looks like right now, what you’re craving more of, and what would make this feel easy for everyone.

If you’d rather speak to us straight away, you’re also welcome to phone us on 07930 166715.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll take the first step together.

Q: What happens during the Discovery Call?
A: We’ll talk through what you want, what you’re worried about (yes, including kids who won’t sit still or a partner who needs convincing), and what would make this feel genuinely enjoyable.

The reason clients choose this is because it’s not a salesy call — it’s a planning chat that creates clarity and emotional safety. We’ll also cover where the experience will happen (studio or woodland for families/dogs), and what days are available for your genre.

By the end, you should feel calm, clear, and like, “Okay… this is actually doable.”

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll map out the easiest next move.

Q: Which days do you photograph families, newborns, pets, and boudoir?
A: I keep days intentionally structured so each experience gets the time and energy it deserves.

• Newborn (baby) and boudoir experiences: Tuesday to Thursday
• Family and pet experiences: Thursday to Saturday

This experience is ideal for busy people because you’re not trying to squeeze it into chaos — we’ll choose a day that supports everyone being relaxed (including you).

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll match you with the best day options.

Q: Do you photograph dogs and cats — and can they be included with the whole family?
A: Yes — dogs and cats are absolutely welcome, and you can choose whether it’s just your pet or your whole family together.

What sets this apart is that it’s designed around real relationships — your furry loved one isn’t a prop, they’re part of the family story. We’ll plan around their personality (high energy, shy, older, a bit chaotic… all normal).

Clients often tell me they’re relieved to hear they don’t need a “perfectly trained” dog for this to work.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me about your pet’s vibe so we can plan accordingly.

Q: Is this experience suitable if we’re not a “picture-perfect” family?
A: Yes — honestly, it’s designed for real life.

If you’re the kind of person who worries the kids will be wild, someone will be grumpy, or you’ll feel self-conscious, you’re not alone — and that’s exactly why the experience is guided. The goal isn’t perfection; it’s connection that feels true.

The most common response we hear is: “I didn’t think we could look like that… but that is us.”

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through what “real life” looks like in your house.

Q: We’re interested in newborn photos — who will be photographing our baby?
A: Leanne — our baby whisperer — will be photographing your baby.

For newborn clients, emotional safety matters: you want to know your baby is safe, soothed, and never rushed. That’s built into how we plan and pace everything.

Leanne has worked with over 600 babies and has completed baby first aid, so you can relax knowing your baby is being handled with trained, confident support.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll plan a newborn experience that feels calm and safe from start to finish.

Q: Is it safe to bring our baby for a newborn experience?
A: Yes — safety is the priority, always. Newborn experiences are slow, gentle, and completely led by your baby’s needs.

What makes this different is the level of care and experience behind it. Leanne has worked with over 600 babies and has completed baby first aid, so you can relax knowing your baby is being handled with trained, confident support.

We’ll also talk through how to prepare, what to bring, and how feeding/settling works so you’re not trying to “manage” your baby into cooperating.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll plan a newborn experience that feels calm and safe from start to finish.

Q: What if my question isn’t listed here?
A: Ask it — truly. If you’re wondering it, it matters.

The reason clients choose this is because you’re not expected to know what to ask or how any of this works. You’ll be guided with clarity, and you’ll never be made to feel silly for needing reassurance (especially if you’re already carrying a lot).

Send your question through, or bring it to the Discovery Call and we’ll talk it through properly.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll make sure you feel completely clear before you decide anything.

Q: Do you offer both studio and outdoor options?
A: Yes — the studio is the main option, and for families and dogs we also have a woodland spot close to the studio.

This experience is ideal for someone who wants that “oh my god, that’s us” feeling without needing to choose between clean, simple studio portraits and more natural outdoor connection. We’ll recommend what suits your people best.

If you’re unsure, we can decide together based on your kids’ ages, your dog’s energy, and the vibe you want in your home.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll choose the best setting for you.

═══ BEFORE YOUR EXPERIENCE ═══
Q: What should we wear?
A: We’ll guide you — you don’t have to figure this out alone. After your Discovery Call, we’ll send a prep guide as a PDF and post out a hard-copy guide (old-school style), so you can flick through it without another screen in your face.

What makes this different is that we’re not trying to make you look like a “perfect” family — we’re helping you feel like yourselves, so the portraits feel honest and connected.

We’ll give you simple direction on colours, textures, and how to coordinate without matching like a uniform. And if you’re including your dog/cat, we’ll help you plan outfits that work with fur tones too.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll make the “what do we wear?” part feel easy.

Q: How much time should I allow for the experience?
A: Most experiences are 60–90 minutes. We build in time for everyone to settle, have a breather, and not feel rushed.

The exact timing can vary depending on what you’re doing (family, newborn, maternity, pets, boudoir), and for newborns especially we keep things baby-led and calm.

The real value of allowing enough time is that you get to step out of rushing and into real connection — and that’s where the “oh my god, that’s us” moments happen.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll plan a time that feels spacious, not stressful.

Q: Can I bring sentimental items to include in the experience?
A: Yes — and it can be such a meaningful way to make the portraits feel like your story.

This experience is perfect for someone who wants their portraits to mean something, not just look nice. A comfort toy, a blanket from a grandparent, a book you always read at bedtime, a baby’s first outfit, or something that connects you to this chapter — all welcome.

We’ll help you choose items that add emotion without turning it into a props list.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me what you’re thinking of including.

Q: What if we are running late?
A: Ideally, we’d love you to arrive 10 minutes early so you can settle in and get the most from your experience (without that “running in stressed” feeling).

If you’re running late, just let us know as soon as you can. Real life happens — shoes go missing, toddlers melt down, and dogs suddenly forget how doors work.

If you’re going to be more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule so you still get the full guided experience and don’t feel rushed.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll choose a time that gives you breathing room.

Q: What if we need to reschedule or cancel?
A: If you need to reschedule, please tell us as soon as possible so we can look after you properly and offer the date to another family.

The reason clients choose this is because we’re human about real life — sickness, sleepless nights, work shifts, childcare chaos, and unpredictable pets happen. We’ll talk you through the best next step based on your situation.

We’ll confirm all the details around rescheduling and cancellations clearly during your Discovery Call and in your booking information, so you’re not left guessing.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll make sure you feel clear and safe before you commit.

Q: Should I get a spray tan before my experience?
A: If you love a spray tan and it makes you feel great, that’s totally fine — but I really recommend keeping it SUBTLE. Think: “me on a really good day”, not a whole new person.

For family and newborn experiences especially, you don’t want to look like the only one who’s just been on holiday — you’ll want to recognise yourself next to your partner and kids.

And for boudoir, more skin is on show than in a family portrait, so subtle and even matters even more (anything too strong tends to look obvious on camera).

If you’re unsure, we can chat through timing and what photographs best during your Discovery Call.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through anything you’re considering so you feel confident.

Q: Do you send a style guide or help us plan outfits?
A: Yes — you’ll get both. We’ll talk it through on your Discovery Call, then we’ll email a PDF prep guide and post you a hard-copy guide too.

This is ideal for someone who’s thinking, “I want this to look good… but I don’t want homework.” The guide gives you clear options, and the call helps you apply it to your family (and your dog/cat).

Clients often tell us the guide alone takes away the “what on earth do we wear?” stress.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll make outfit planning feel simple.

Q: Can we bring multiple outfits?
A: Yes — depending on the type of experience and your timing, we can usually plan for more than one outfit.

The real value of this is variety without overwhelm: one look that feels classic and one that feels more relaxed, for example. For maternity or boudoir, we can also plan looks that help you feel confident and supported.

We’ll recommend what makes sense for your experience so you’re not packing half your wardrobe “just in case”.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll plan your outfits in a way that feels easy.

Q: We’re doing a pet experience — should I groom my dog before we come?
A: If your dog is due a groom, it’s a great idea — but it doesn’t need to be perfect. Clean eyes, brushed coat (especially for fluffy breeds), and trimmed nails if possible can make a big difference.

What sets this apart is that we’re photographing your furry loved one as part of the family story — so we want them comfortable and themselves, not stressed.

We’ll also tell you what to bring (like treats, water, and anything that helps them feel safe).

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell us what your dog is like so we can plan around them.

Q: For newborns — what should we bring?
A: We’ll guide you on exactly what to bring, and we keep it simple. The most important things are feed and nappies.

If you use a dummy, bring it too — it can make a BIG difference for settling (no judgement either way). Then add the basics like wipes, and anything sentimental you’d love included.

This experience is perfect for new parents who want to feel looked after — not like they have to “perform” or keep the baby on a schedule. We plan slowly, gently, and around your baby’s needs.

And you can relax knowing Leanne has worked with over 600 babies and has completed baby first aid — your baby is safe, soothed, and never rushed.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through newborn prep in a way that feels calm and doable.

Q: For maternity — when is the best time to plan this?
A: Most maternity experiences are planned when your bump is beautifully visible and you’re still feeling comfortable enough to enjoy it — and we’ll help you choose the best timing for you.

The reason clients choose this is because it’s not about “looking perfect while pregnant” — it’s about feeling like yourself again, and having a moment to be seen in this chapter.

We’ll chat through your due date, how you’re feeling, and whether you want studio, woodland, or a mix.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll plan the timing that feels best for you.

Q: For boudoir — do you provide outfits or hair and make-up?
A: We don’t provide a client wardrobe, and hair and make-up is arranged by you — but you won’t be left on your own to figure it out.

This experience is designed specifically for someone who wants to feel special again and have meaningful “me” time without pressure. We’ll guide you on what photographs beautifully, what feels comfortable, and how to choose pieces that feel like you.

If you’d like recommendations for what to bring (and what to avoid), we’ll cover it on your Discovery Call and in your prep guide.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll plan a boudoir experience that feels exciting, safe, and completely you.

═══ DURING YOUR EXPERIENCE ═══
Q: What if I’m not photogenic?
A: You don’t need to be “photogenic” — you just need to show up as you. Most people who say this are really saying, “I don’t want to feel awkward or disappointed,” and that’s completely normal.

What makes this different is that you’re not left to perform or guess what to do. I guide you the whole way, so you can step out of your head and into real connection (with your kids, your partner, or your furry loved one).

Time and again, clients tell me they felt more relaxed than they expected — and that the portraits looked like them on their best, most true day.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me what you’re most nervous about — we’ll make a plan that feels safe.

Q: What if I’ve never felt confident in photos before?
A: You’re not alone — and you don’t have to “be confident” before you arrive. This experience is designed specifically for someone who wants to feel seen and look like themselves (not a stiff version of themselves).

Unlike traditional photography where you might feel judged or on show, this is guided and paced so you can settle in. We focus on connection first — because that’s what makes you look like you.

Clients often tell us the confidence comes during the experience, not before it.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through what would help you feel most comfortable.

Q: What happens when we arrive?
A: We’ll welcome you in, help everyone settle, and make it feel easy from the first few minutes — not like you need to walk in “ready”.

What sets this apart is the pace: we’re not rushing you straight into portraits. We’ll get you comfortable, offer drinks/snacks (teas, coffees, bottled water and snacks are free of charge throughout), and guide you step by step.

If you’ve brought kids or pets, we’ll let them decompress first so it feels calm, not like herding cats.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through what arrival looks like for your crew.

Q: Do you tell us what to do, or is it more candid?
A: It’s a mix — you’ll be guided the whole way, but it won’t feel stiff or overly posed.

The reason clients choose this is because they want portraits that feel real, not performative. I’ll give you simple prompts that create natural connection (the kind that makes you forget about the camera).

This experience is perfect for families who want that “oh my god, that’s us” feeling — not a set of forced smiles.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk about the vibe you want (playful, calm, cosy, outdoorsy, etc.).

Q: What if the kids won’t sit still or “behave”?
A: That’s normal — and honestly expected. You don’t need kids who sit still; you need an experience that’s designed for kids.

What makes this different is that we don’t fight their energy — we work with it. I’ll guide you into connection-based moments that allow movement, play, and real personality (without it turning into chaos).

Families just like you often tell us they were shocked by how relaxed it felt — and how much the portraits looked like their real life, in the best way.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me your kids’ ages and personalities so we can plan around them.

Q: What if my partner doesn’t love being photographed?
A: You’re in very good company — a lot of partners feel exactly that way.

This experience is ideal for someone who doesn’t want to “perform” or be told to smile on command. I keep it simple, low-pressure, and focused on real connection rather than posing perfection.

What clients love most is that it doesn’t feel like a photo experience about them — it feels like time together, and the portraits happen as a result.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me what your partner is like — we’ll make it feel easy for them too.

Q: Can we have snacks and drinks during the experience?
A: Yes — absolutely. We provide teas, coffees, bottled water, and snacks free of charge throughout.

The real value of this is that it helps everyone relax (including you). Kids settle better, parents feel cared for, and it stops the whole thing feeling like a high-pressure event.

If you have allergies or dietary needs, tell us in advance and we’ll guide you on the best plan.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and let us know if there’s anything we should be aware of.

Q: What if my dog/cat is high energy or won’t sit still?
A: That’s completely fine — you don’t need a “perfect” pet for this.

What sets this apart is that we plan around your furry loved one’s personality. High energy, shy, older, bouncy, easily distracted… all normal. We’ll use gentle guidance, breaks, and the right moments to get portraits that feel like them.

Pet parents often tell us they were relieved by how calm it felt — and how much we got without forcing anything.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me what your pet is like so we can plan around them.

Q: Can dogs come into the studio?
A: Yes — dogs are welcome in the studio. We just ask that they’ve had a chance to do some “business” outside first.

Dogs can arrive any way at all, and they’ll be greeted slowly and gently so they can settle without feeling overwhelmed.

This experience is perfect for someone who wants their dog included as a true part of the family — not as an afterthought.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell us what your dog is like (excitable, nervous, reactive, etc.) so we can greet them in the best way.

Q: For newborns — will the studio be warm, and can I breastfeed during the experience?
A: Yes and yes. For newborn experiences the studio is kept very warm, and breastfeeding is absolutely welcome — and made to feel completely normal.

The reason clients choose this is because it’s baby-led and calm. You’re never rushed, and feeding/settling breaks are part of the experience, not an inconvenience.

And with Leanne having worked with over 600 babies and completed baby first aid, you can relax knowing your baby is safe, soothed, and handled with trained care.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through exactly how we keep newborn experiences calm and comfortable.

Q: For boudoir — what if I feel nervous or awkward at the start?
A: Totally normal. Almost everyone feels a bit nervous in the first few minutes — you’re not expected to arrive feeling confident.

What makes this different is that it’s guided, private, and paced. I’ll direct you clearly (without being intense), and we’ll build up slowly so you feel safe and in control.

This is designed specifically for someone who wants to feel special again, look amazing, and have that meaningful “me” time — without pressure to be anyone other than yourself.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me what would help you feel most comfortable on the day.

Q: When do we have to decide on what we want to buy?
A: You don’t have to decide on the day of your experience. You’ll choose what you love during your Design Consultation after you’ve seen your portraits.

The real value of this is that you’re not making decisions in a rush or from a place of uncertainty — you get to see the story first, then choose what you want to live with at home.

We’ll guide you through the options and help you choose what fits your space and what you want to feel when you walk past it on the hard nights.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll explain exactly how the Design Consultation works.

═══ AFTER YOUR EXPERIENCE ═══
Q: When will we see our portraits?
A: Typically, you’ll see your portraits about one week after your experience.

What makes this different is that we don’t just dump a gallery on you and leave you to figure it out — we bring you back in for a guided Design Consultation so you can actually feel what you’ve created (and choose what you love with confidence).

We’ll confirm your Design Consultation date when we plan your experience, so you know exactly what’s happening and when.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll map out your dates so it all feels simple.

Q: How does the ordering / Design Consultation process work?
A: Your ordering happens at your Design Consultation, which is in person at the studio on our 75″ screen.

The reason clients choose this is because it takes away the overwhelm — you’re not squinting at tiny phone photos at midnight trying to decide. You get to see everything properly, feel the story, and choose what you genuinely love.

We’ll guide you through your portraits, talk through what works best in your home, and help you choose artwork that gives you that “oh my god, that’s us” feeling every time you walk past it.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll explain what your Design Consultation will feel like.

Q: How much time should I allow when choosing our artwork during the Design Consultation?
A: Please allow around 45 minutes for your Design Consultation.

What sets this apart is that it’s guided and calm — you don’t have to make fast decisions or feel pressured. We’ll keep it simple, help you choose your favourites together, and talk through what works best for your walls, shelves, or albums.

Clients often tell us they’re relieved it’s structured, because it means they can enjoy seeing the portraits without spiralling into “I can’t decide”.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll reserve your Design Consultation time.

Q: When do we have to decide on what we want to buy?
A: You don’t have to decide on the day of your experience. You’ll choose what you love during your Design Consultation after you’ve seen your portraits.

The real value of this is that you’re choosing from a place of clarity — you can see what the portraits feel like, then decide what you want to live with at home.

We’ll guide you through the options and help you choose what fits your space and what you want to feel when you walk past it on the hard nights.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll walk you through the full timeline.

Q: What products do you offer?
A: We offer a range of finished artwork designed to be seen and enjoyed every day — not just stored on a hard drive. This typically includes wall art and printed pieces for your home, and options that work beautifully as gifts too.

What makes this different is that we help you choose based on your home and your life — not a generic list. The goal is for you to see your family (or your baby, or your furry loved one) and feel that grounding “we’re okay” certainty.

At your Design Consultation, you’ll see what your portraits look like at different sizes and we’ll guide you towards what suits your space best.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk about what you’re drawn to (wall art, desk pieces, albums, gifts).

Q: What if I do not want my portraits used for social media?
A: That’s completely okay — just tell us, and we’ll respect it.

This experience is designed specifically for someone who wants to feel safe and in control, and that includes how your portraits are shared (or not shared).

We’ll confirm your preference clearly so you don’t have to worry about it afterwards.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and let us know your comfort level — we’ll follow your lead.

Q: How can other family members see and order their own artwork?
A: Absolutely — other family members can order too. The easiest way is for you to tell us who you’d like involved, and we’ll guide you on the best option for your family.

What sets this apart is that we keep it simple and organised — so you’re not stuck playing middle-person between relatives.

If you’re doing an extended family experience or you want grandparents to have their own pieces, we’ll help you plan that at (or after) your Design Consultation.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell us who you’d like to include, and we’ll map out an easy plan.

Q: What if I can’t decide which portraits to choose?
A: You’re not alone — this is one of the most common worries, especially when the portraits feel really “you”.

The reason clients choose this is because the Design Consultation is guided. We’ll help you choose your favourites together based on what you’re drawn to emotionally and what will work best in your home.

You won’t be left to overthink it — we’ll keep it calm, clear, and genuinely enjoyable.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll explain how we make choosing feel easy.

Q: Can we share our portraits online?
A: Yes — once you’ve purchased your portraits, we’ll guide you on the best way to share them online.

What makes this different is that we want your portraits to look amazing everywhere — from your wall to your phone — and we’ll help you feel confident about what to post (and what to keep private).

If you have specific privacy needs (new baby, sensitive work role, boudoir), just tell us and we’ll tailor the plan.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through what level of sharing feels right for you.

Q: How long does it take to receive our finished artwork?
A: Turnaround depends on what you choose, but we’ll give you clear expectations at your Design Consultation so you know exactly what to expect. As a guide, typical orders are ready around 14 days after approval.

What clients love most is that you’re not left wondering what’s happening — we keep you informed, and everything is ordered and prepared with care.

If you have a deadline (a birthday, anniversary, or you’re moving house), tell us early and we’ll guide you on the best options.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through timelines based on what you’re hoping to create.

Q: Can we order more later?
A: Yes — you can order more later.

This experience is perfect for someone who wants to start with what they love most now, and then add to it over time (especially if you’re building a wall over the years, or you want to add gifts later).

We’ll guide you on the easiest way to do that, and what options are available.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through what you might want now versus later.

Q: Do you offer albums or wall art?
A: Yes — we offer both. Wall art is perfect if you want that daily “we’re okay” proof in your home, and albums are beautiful if you want the full story in your hands.

What sets this apart is that we’ll help you choose based on how you live — not what you “should” buy. You’ll see options on the big screen at your Design Consultation so you can choose with confidence.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell us what you’re most drawn to (something on the wall, something to hold, or both).

Q: How does the ordering / Design Consultation work?

═══ INVESTMENT & VALUE ═══
Q: How much will it cost — what is the investment?
A: We completely understand wanting to know about investment before reaching out. Experience fees start from £95, and most clients invest around £590.

What makes this different is that you’re not choosing from a one-size-fits-all list — your experience is designed around your people and what you want to create for your home. So what you invest depends on what you fall in love with at your Design Consultation.

We’ll talk you through what’s possible, what tends to suit your space, and how to keep it feeling calm and clear (not salesy or overwhelming).

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through what you’re hoping for — with no obligation to buy.

Q: What is included in the experience fee?
A: Your experience fee covers the planning and guidance that makes this feel easy, your time in the studio (and woodland as an option for families/dogs), and your in-person Design Consultation where you see your portraits on our 75″ screen and choose what you love.

The real value of this experience is that you’re not left to manage it or guess what to do — it’s designed specifically for busy people who want to step out of logistics mode and into real connection.

We’ll confirm exactly what’s included for your chosen type of experience (family, newborn, maternity, pet, boudoir) during your Discovery Call so you feel completely clear.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll walk you through what’s included.

Q: Do we get all the digital files?
A: Not automatically — and that’s intentional.

What sets this apart is that we don’t just hand over a huge folder and leave you to figure out what matters. You’ll see your portraits at your Design Consultation on the big screen, and we’ll choose your favourites together based on what you love and what you want to live with at home.

Digital options are available depending on what you purchase, and we’ll explain it clearly so you’re never surprised.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through how digital portraits work and what most clients choose.

Q: Do we have to buy anything at the Design Consultation?
A: No — you don’t have to buy.

The reason clients choose this is because it’s guided and pressure-free: you get to see what you’ve created, understand your options, and then decide what feels right for you.

Most clients do choose to purchase because they want that “we’re okay” proof on the walls — but the decision is always yours.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll explain exactly how the Design Consultation works (with no obligation).

Q: Do you offer packages?
A: We don’t do cookie-cutter packages. Instead, you choose what you love after you’ve seen your portraits.

Unlike traditional photography packages that try to make you fit a preset, this is designed specifically around your story: your people, your space, and what you want to feel when you walk past your portraits on the hard nights.

At your Design Consultation, we’ll guide you through the options and help you choose your favourites together — calmly, and without overwhelm.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk about what you’re drawn to (wall art, albums, gifts, digital options).

Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes — we offer a few ways to spread payments out.

What clients love most is being able to create something meaningful for their home without it feeling like a financial “gulp” all at once. We’ll keep it simple and explain the best option based on what you choose.

We offer Klarna over 3 months, plus interest-free payment plans up to 10 months (depending on the value of your order).

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and ask about payment plans — we’ll explain what’s possible for what you’re hoping to create.

Q: Can I buy more later?
A: Yes — you can absolutely add to your order later.

This experience is perfect for someone who wants to start with what they love most now, then build on it over time (especially if you’re creating a wall that grows as your family does).

We’ll guide you on the easiest way to do that, and what options are available.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through what you might want now versus later.

Q: When do we have to pay?
A: We’ll explain your payment timing clearly before you commit, so there are no surprises. Typically there’s an experience fee to secure your date, and then your artwork investment happens after you’ve seen your portraits at the Design Consultation.

The real value of doing it this way is that you’re not guessing what you’ll want before you’ve even seen it — you get clarity first, then you choose.

We’ll confirm the exact timing and options during your Discovery Call.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll walk you through the payment timeline.

Q: What form of payment do you accept?
A: We accept most major cards and cash, and we also offer Klarna over 3 months plus interest-free payment plans up to 10 months (depending on the value of your order).

What sets this apart is that we keep the whole experience simple and guided — including the admin side — so you’re not chasing details or trying to decode fine print.

If you already know you’ll want to spread payments out, tell us early and we’ll guide you to the best option.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll confirm the best payment option for you.

Q: Do you sell gift vouchers?
A: Yes — we do. Gift vouchers are ideal for someone who wants to give something meaningful (not just “stuff”) — whether it’s for a birthday, Christmas, a new baby, or a “you deserve this” surprise.

What makes this different is that the voucher isn’t just for portraits — it’s for a guided experience where they feel relaxed, seen, and genuinely together.

We’ll help you choose the right voucher option and make it easy to give.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call (or get in touch) and we’ll help you choose the best gift voucher.

Q: How long do we have to decide after the Design Consultation?
A: Your decision happens at the Design Consultation. That’s where you’ll see your portraits on the 75″ screen, we’ll guide you through them, and you’ll choose what you love.

What makes this different is that we don’t leave you to go home and overthink it for weeks — the Design Consultation is designed to give you clarity, emotional safety, and a calm, guided way to choose your favourites together.

If you’re the kind of person who’s thinking, “We’ll do it next month,” we gently don’t work that way — not to be awkward, but because it’s how we keep the experience structured, fair, and properly supported.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll explain exactly what happens at the Design Consultation so you feel ready.

Q: How long do you keep our portraits/files?
A: We don’t keep portraits indefinitely. If there is no order placed at the Design Consultation, files are kept for one day afterwards.

The reason clients choose this is because it keeps everything clear and decisive — you’re not left in limbo, and we’re not holding onto unpurchased work long-term while people try to decide “sometime”. The Design Consultation is the moment where it all comes together.

If you know you’ll need to purchase, we’ll make sure you understand your options and feel completely supported in choosing at the Design Consultation.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through how ordering works so there are no surprises.

═══ WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT ═══
Q: What makes you different?
A: This is designed to feel like something you do WITH your kids (or your dog/cat), not another thing you do FOR them. No “say cheese” energy. No pressure to perform.

What makes this different is that we’re not trying to squeeze you into a generic slot; we’re creating a guided experience that helps you step out of manager mode and into real connection — so the portraits feel like you, not like a version of you trying to behave.

Time and again, clients tell us they’re surprised by how relaxed it feels — and how much they recognise themselves in the final portraits.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk about what you want to feel when you look at these on the hard nights.

Q: What is a “Transformational Experience” — is it just a normal photo session?
A: It’s photography, yes — but it’s not a “stand here and smile” setup. It’s a guided experience designed specifically for busy people who want something that feels easy, calm, and genuinely them.

Unlike traditional photography where you’re managing everyone and hoping for the best, this is built around connection-first prompts and a pace that helps everyone settle.

The real value of this experience is that you leave with that “oh my god, that’s us” feeling — and artwork that becomes proof you’re connected and okay, even on the hard nights.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through what this would look like for your family.

Q: We’re not a “picture-perfect” family — will this still feel like us?
A: Yes — honestly, it’s designed for real life.

What sets this apart is that we’re not chasing perfection; we’re creating space for connection that feels true. Wiggly kids, tired parents, nervous pets, partners who need warming up — all normal here.

The most common response we hear is: “I didn’t think we could look like that… but that is us.”

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me what “real life” looks like in your house.

Q: I’m worried it’ll be stressful — how do you keep it calm?
A: That worry makes total sense — especially if most “special things” still end up feeling like admin.

What makes this different is the guidance and pacing. You’re not left to manage everyone while I just “take photos” — I lead you through it in a way that helps everyone settle and keeps the energy light.

Clients often tell us they expected chaos, and instead it felt like a genuine breather — like they got to be together, and the portraits happened as a result.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll plan around your kids’ ages, personalities, and energy.

Q: What if my kids don’t sit still (or my dog is chaotic)?
A: You don’t need them to sit still — you need an experience designed for them.

Unlike traditional photography that can feel like “behave and smile”, this is built around movement, play, and connection-based prompts that allow personality without it turning into a battle.

This experience is perfect for families who want portraits that feel honest — not staged — and who want to actually enjoy the time together.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me who you’re bringing (ages + pet vibe) so we can plan it.

Q: Why do you do the Design Consultation in person instead of an online gallery?
A: Because it changes everything. You’ll see your portraits on our 75″ screen at the studio, and we’ll guide you through choosing what you love.

What sets this apart is that you’re not making emotional decisions on a tiny phone screen at midnight — you get clarity, support, and a calm way to choose your favourites together.

Clients tell us this is the moment it “clicks” — they feel the story, and they choose with confidence.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll explain the full timeline from experience to Design Consultation.

Q: We’ve had photos done before and it didn’t feel like us — what’s different this time?
A: That’s exactly what this is built for.

What makes this different is that we don’t chase a “perfect” version of your family — we guide you into moments that feel real, so your portraits look like you on your best, most connected day.

Time and again, clients say they expected to feel awkward… and then they forgot about the camera and just enjoyed being together.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me what didn’t work last time — I’ll make sure we do it differently.

Q: Is this just for mums — or is it for the whole family (including dads/partners)?
A: It’s for the whole family.

This experience is designed specifically for families who want everyone included — not just the person who usually organises it all. If a partner feels awkward or “not into photos”, that’s normal — and it’s part of what I guide.

The transformation goes beyond the portraits: people leave feeling more connected because they had time together that wasn’t admin.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me who’s coming — we’ll make it feel easy for everyone.

Q: Do you photograph in studio, outdoors, or both — and how do we choose?
A: Both. Most experiences are in the studio, and for families and dogs we can also use a woodland location close to the studio for something more outdoorsy and relaxed.

What clients love most is choice without overwhelm — you don’t have to decide alone or guess what will “work”. We’ll choose the setting that fits your people and the feeling you want.

If you’re not sure, we can decide together based on your kids’ ages, your dog’s energy, and the vibe you want at home.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell me what you’re picturing — studio, woodland, or a mix.

Q: What kind of families is this experience ideal for?
A: This experience is perfect for busy, modern parents who are tired of organising “together time” and still wondering at bedtime if the connection is landing.

What sets this apart is that it’s guided — you get to step out of manager mode and be fully in it with your kids (and your furry loved one), without pressure to perform.

The real value is what you walk away with: that “oh my god, that’s us” feeling — and artwork that becomes proof on the hard nights that you’re connected, you’re okay, and you’re doing better than you think.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll plan something that feels easy and genuinely you.

═══ WHY CHOOSE US ═══
Q: Why should we choose you as our family photographer?
A: Because this isn’t just about nice portraits — it’s about leaving with that “oh my god, that’s us” feeling, and having proof on the hard nights that you’re connected and okay.

What sets this apart is the mix of experience and environment: you’re guided by trained, qualified photographers, and you’re doing it in a studio chosen for its peaceful location and totally stress-free feel.

Clients choose this because it feels calm, clear, and genuinely human — not like a performance.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through what you want to feel when you see these on your walls.

Q: How experienced are you?
A: Grahame has been in photography for 44 years, and the studio has 22 national awards — and you’ll be looked after by trained and qualified photographers.

The real value of that experience isn’t “fancy credentials” — it’s that you’ll feel guided, not judged. You don’t have to know how to pose, how to get the kids to behave, or how to make it look natural — that’s our job.

Time and again, clients tell us they’re surprised by how easy it feels — and how much the portraits look like them.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll recommend the best type of experience for your family.

Q: What if we’ve had a bad experience with photographers before?
A: That’s more common than you’d think — and it makes total sense you’d feel cautious.

What makes this different is that it’s guided and paced. You’re not left standing there wondering what to do, and we’re not trying to force your family into a “perfect” mould.

This experience is ideal for someone who wants it to feel relaxed and real — like you got to actually be together, and the portraits happened as a result.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell us what didn’t work last time so we can do it differently.

Q: We’re busy and already stretched — what makes this worth doing now?
A: If you’re thinking, “We’ll do it when life calms down,” you’re not alone — but that’s exactly how years disappear.

What sets this apart is that it’s designed for busy life: you’re guided the whole way, so it doesn’t become another thing you have to manage.

The transformation goes beyond the portraits — you walk away with an anchor you can actually see at home, which changes how bedtime doubt lands.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll map out a plan that feels easy, not like another project.

Q: How do you make the studio feel calm and stress-free?
A: We chose the studio specifically for its peaceful location and totally stress-free environment — because how you feel during the experience changes everything.

What clients love most is that you’re not rushed or “performed at”. You’re welcomed in, given time to settle, and guided step by step so it feels calm from the first few minutes.

It’s ideal for families who want something special without it turning into admin.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk through what would help your family feel most comfortable.

Q: What if my kids are wild / shy / don’t warm up quickly?
A: That’s normal — and it’s exactly what we plan for.

Unlike traditional photography that can feel like “behave and smile”, we guide you with connection-first prompts that allow movement, play, and personality — without it turning into chaos.

Families just like you often tell us they expected it to be stressful… and then it felt like a breather.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell us your kids’ ages and personalities so we can plan around them.

Q: What if my partner doesn’t want to do this?
A: You’re in very good company — a lot of partners feel sceptical at first.

What makes this different is that it’s not “stand there and smile”. It’s guided in a way that feels natural and low-pressure, so partners don’t feel like they’re being made to perform.

Clients choose this because it includes everyone — not just the person who normally organises everything.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell us what your partner is like — we’ll make it feel easy for them too.

Q: What if we’re not a ‘picture-perfect’ family?
A: Then you’re exactly who this is for.

What sets this apart is that we’re not chasing perfection — we’re creating space for real connection that feels true to your life.

The most common response we hear is: “I didn’t think we could look like that… but that is us.”

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell us what real life looks like in your house.

Q: Can you include our dog/cat as part of the family?
A: Yes — absolutely. Your furry loved one can be included, and we’ll plan around their personality so it feels calm and doable.

What makes this different is that your pet isn’t treated like a prop — they’re part of the family story. Dogs are welcome in the studio (after they’ve had a chance to do some “business” outside), and they’ll be greeted slowly and gently so they can settle.

Pet parents often tell us they’re relieved they don’t need a “perfectly trained” dog for it to work.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and tell us about your pet’s vibe so we can plan around them.

Q: What if we’re still not sure we’re the right fit?
A: That’s exactly what the Discovery Call is for — a quick, no-pressure chat to make sure this feels right before you commit to anything.

The reason clients choose this is because it creates clarity and emotional safety: you get to ask questions, talk through worries, and understand what the experience will feel like.

If we’re not the right fit, you’ll still leave the call feeling clear — not pushed.

Next step: Schedule a Discovery Call and we’ll talk it through properly.
