Bringing your baby to the studio should feel exciting, not stressful. We’ve photographed over 600 newborns and babies, and our team is fully trained to keep your little one comfortable and safe throughout. You can sit back, enjoy a coffee, and know you’re in experienced hands.

Maternity – 30 + weeks – whenever bump is big 🙂
Newborn – First two to six weeks for perfect, sleepy newborns, but it’s also still very beautiful up to 3 months old.
Baby – 4 months to 7 months. More awake, but those lovely first smiles!
Sitter Sessions – Around 7-10 months on (or when your child is self-supporting and sitting up)
1 year old – Cake Smash or paint party !

It’s best to book before baby arrives — we’re one of the busiest baby studios in Scotland and often book 3–6 weeks ahead. If baby is early or late, we’ll reschedule for free.
Can me and my partner and older kids be in a few photos?
Absolutely — we love including parents and siblings. Some of the most popular images chosen are the family ones.
Can we bring the family dog ?
No, not to the newborn shoot – mostly for health & safety reasons – but also there’s just not a good photo to get a newborn and dog – BUT hang on… we DO offer an amazing top up shoot / sitter session with doggy that is amazing and will give you the complete family set of photos.
How much does it cost and what is included?
It’s only £20 . After that, you only buy what you love. Most families invest £300–£950. Our studio is full of wall art, display boxes and beautiful prints you can see when you visit.
What about packages?
We are very much one of the best studios in the country for the choice of ways to have your photos. We have ready made packages from £395 that include some form of printed photos and our amazing Quantum Digital Card – the best digital platform for sharing and viewing your photos.

Where are you based?
Our studio is just outside Edinburgh, on farmland with easy access from the A1. You’ll avoid city traffic and parking stress — just drive up, park right at the door (for free, all day), and relax. Perfect for families from Edinburgh, the Lothians, and Fife.
What if my baby doesn’t settle?
That’s normal! We allow plenty of time, take breaks whenever needed, and never rush. A relaxed baby makes for the best photos — and we’ve got the patience of saints.
Is my baby safe?
Absolutely. We’ve photographed over 550 babies and our amazing baby photographer Leanne has the nickname of “The Baby Whisperer” !
