Wedding at Rosslyn Chapel

03rd June 2012
You couldn't ask for a more intriguing and unique venue for a wedding than Rosslyn Chapel - the wonderful church built by William St Clair in the 1400's, and made even more famous by films like The Da Vinci Code.

Throw in a good looking couple with a large amount of loving & fun friends & family and you have the ingredients for a fantastic day.

Lindsay & Dan are a really fun couple and the ceremony, performed by the very well known Bishop Richard Holloway was sincere and still light hearted.

Shooting a wedding in a venue such as this is a real privilege, but not without it's extra strains on my poor taxed brain... we had exclusive access (no tourists) for an hour and a half so everything had to be bang on time. But everyone did their parts well and before we knew it, everyone was on their way to Ravensheugh Log Cabin for the afternoon & evenings reception.

A great ceilidh with Dahooley Ceilidh band ensured the international band of guests had a ball, with many of the guests taking part in a Scottish wedding for the first time.

So, Lindsay & Dan's full portfolio is online in the gallery now, and once they have viewed tham I'm sure they'll tell family & friends the password. But here's a sample of pics... and the video we made on the day to show to guests at the reception with a selection of pics from the afternoon...

All the best to Lindsay & Dan ! x
