The Graveyard Shift

18th July 2011
On Friday night just passed... full moon (although couldn't see it for the cloud cover) I went out with a couple of models/friends for a rare shoot on top of Dunbar Castle, and then into a graveyard for a midnight shoot ... spooky (for anyone seeing flashes going off !)

An interesting test for some ideas we are developing.
Let me know what you think, all input graciously received.

The monster awakens... lol, our "monster" stayed as still as possible during another very long exposure, then a flash gun behind him in the shelter was fired remotely to ring the doorway.

This is more of a fun image, one "ghost" off to the side slowly walked into the scene during the 10 second exposure, whilst the other "ghost" raised his face from under the camera to give the path a spooky face look...

We've went for a ghost image here, a see through guy at the end of the path. This was a mixture of wireless off camera flash, hand held by one of the gang behind the model, and a 10 second exposure with the model walking towards camera to create the empty shell, ringed by the flash.

Similar to the one above but with a static model but also with the ambient light behind the model vignetted off to create the halo-kinda look.
