Susan & Grant's wedding in Gifford

06th November 2014
This wedding was always going to be fun, with Grant choosing one of his beloved dogs to be "best man". Bracken was the ring bearer in church - but didn't follow up with a speech later on unfortunately.
Now that would have been something special.

Being November, you have no idea what to expect weather-wise, and we'd planned in advance to do the bride & groom portraits after the church in a field behind Susan & Grant's house.
Thankfully the weather held out and all plans were go !

I started off as usual around 11am , following people about, shooting the dress, rings, excited flower girls and the likes until nearer 1pm when we started to get into the proper family shots before everyone started leaving for the church.

Susan looked amazing in a nice slender dress, and we got some great shots against a burned out sky in the sitting room.

In church, I was banished to a balcony, but could still shoot from there, then we stopped Gifford High street for a couple of minutes for a few pics - before going to the field for our dramatic pics.

It really was a peaceful wedding, and I left the happy crowd as they were about to tuck into their dinner.

So here's a few samples and the slideshow to keep you going until Susan & Grant give you the password for the full portfolio in our Gallery Section.
Anyone can order prints - or even full sets of photos direct from there.

All the best to the new Mr & Mrs Tait.
