Sunshine weddings in East Lothian & Loch Lomond

28th May 2012
What a cracking weekend that was for weddings... great, hot sunshine like we had there can cause a lot of problems for photographers, people squinting, extreme harsh shadows or bright white dresses blinding the camera... but it's worth it to see everyone enjoying the sunshine.

On Friday I started off at Deans Parish Church in Edinburgh to shoot the start of Fiona & Paul's wedding, before they drove off in a lovely MG to the log cabin at Ravensheugh, Tyninghame for their reception.
We had a quick walk along the beach while the guests chilled out in the sunshine.

Got a few weddings there this year, in fact I'm back there on Saturday after a ceremony at Roslyn Chapel, and also one of my nieces is having her full wedding there in September too.

On Saturday, it was a drive through to Loch Lomond to The Cruin. What a gorgeous location that is too, and the weather.... beautiful again.
I was there for just over 12 hours, but the day was great so it was no chore !
The Cruin is one of those locations where if the weather is good, you just want to sit outside all day letting the world pass you by. Not me mind... I had a wedding to photograph !

So all the best to Fiona & Paul, and Lisa & Leon, both their full portfolios are getting worked on just now, and will be available to view here soon.
