Sarah & Craig's wedding at Dunglass

28th May 2015
I told you I shoot wedding photography at Dunglass a lot ! And I'm very happy to do so. You get this beautiful setting - you add in a fun & happy couple with a good bunch of friends & family around them and you have a day that is amazing.

It's an added bonus if the weather is as good as it was on this day. A beautiful day all round.

Myself and assistant/daughter/gear carrier Annie arrived on site just before 11, and caught up with the girls at the big house on site. We then spent the next while photographing some prep, details, the venue, the area until Craig and the guys arrived - when we then added them into the mix.

We like to get on site early and do a walk around, prepare mentally where we would like to do some shots with the newly weds after the ceremony so everything goes smoothly, so we did our homework and prepared for the start of all the official parts of the day.

The ceremony went very sweetly, with a hand fastening and a reading from two of the bridesmaids. Then it was back out into the sunshine for a champagne and kisses and cuddles.

A brief walk around the grounds with the new Mr & Mrs Kirkham for some alone time photos was then followed by a quick family group photo session, then it was in for speeches & dinner.

As the evening came, the band arrived and set up. Diego... and very good they were too. The dancing got under way, more friends arrived and the night came in as fast as the day had started... all the time with everyone having a great time.

So here's a sample of the photos, and the highlights slideshow above. The full portfolio is in our gallery section now for friends & family to view - and if you like - order copies. Sarah & Craig will have the password ready for you.
