RPS Exhibition moves to Stow

08th October 2011
This years Royal Photographic Society Scottish Members print exhibition has moved from Dundee to Stow.

We took an easy drive down from Dunbar this morning... wet but easy... to where the exhibit is being held in this quaint wee town... The Cloudhouse Gallery/Cafe.
A great wee cafe with very friendly owner. We sat down, ordered our coffees and scones, explaining we were here to see the photos. "Yeah, they all look great..." said the owner, "just that one of them got a broken glass as we were unpacking them..." I looked around... aye, you guessed it... my picture was missing. Drat (or words to that effect).
Still it's getting a new glass this weekend, and will be up in time for you visiting and viewing the great and varied collection of photos.

You might even want to write your thoughts in the Comments book hanging up. A few good ones in there already, a few folk moaning about over-use of photoshop etc. But hey, each to their own... that's the modern way.
Someone mentioned that pros should know better, remember the RPS is made up of mostly hobbyists and amateurs, yeah a few pros, but it's just like any other camera club.

Still a great exhibition, some classy photos.

Get along, tell me what you think :)
