Photo selected for Scottish Exhibition

07th March 2011
I'm delighted (chuffed) to have had a photo chosen for this years Royal Photographic Society's members print exhibition. There were around 60 people who contributed entries, with almost 200 photographs - with 40 chosen for the exhibition.

It's the second year in a row that I've had an inclusion, with this year's picture being one of our February Hot Shot Portraits entitled "4 week rule".
The exhibition does a mini tour of Scotland starting in Lerwick in April, before going through Fife, Penicuick (in June), Crieff, Hamilton, Stirling, Stow, Stewarty, Stranraer, Inverness & Aberdeen.

There was also a silver award from the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers in February's monthly competition for the picture of Haley on the scooter, so all in all quite a successful month ! Determined to get a gold one month - just have to keep plugging away !

Got lots to do, working towards higher levels with the RPS, SWPP and soon the British Institute of Professional Photographers.
