Photo a day - Week 15

15th April 2013
I'm not going to mention the weather, well maybe just a wee bit - we hit 14' this week !!! Roastin' !

A week that seen us taking in a Medium show, picked up the new scoot and had a first night out with mates in about a year. Here's the gen...

I just love really old graffiti, carvings into really ancient buildings that you can put your fingers and feel the years of life that the scribblings must have witnessed. This one is from St Martin's Kirk in Haddington.

This was a test shot for my next 35mm black & white film project, documenting all Dunbar's High St closes & alleys. I did this a while back for the old Dunbar website, but want to do a more deep & grainy affair.

Up to Edinburgh on Thursday to see Psychic Sally Morgan show. It was... eh ok. I'm open minded about all that stuff, but left with crippled legs as it seems the Playhouse seating is built for midgets. Ali is fine.
Oh, these giraffes are outside the Omni Centre by the Playhouse :)

Yay ! Picked up the new Vespa today.

First time on a scooter in around 19 months. After Aberfoyle trip in Sept 2011 (I think) , and a series of unfortunate incidents left me having to retire from the (2 wheeled) road for a while. Good to be back like a big kid again. Yes - I did expose for a darker sky, and a silhouette effect.

Which leads me to this hang-over picture. A self portrait on Sunday afternoon, feeling very worse for wear after a night out with some friends. The camera decided to lock in on my big nose which leaves the rest of me out of focus at F2, but that's how I felt :/

Out for a wee spin on the Vespa in very windy conditions. But hey - it's not cold !

Until next week....
