Photo a day - Week 14

08th April 2013
Well , I said I was going to do a week of the cats, and to be honest, it was almost just the same as not doing it at all... but the time spent getting lots (and lots) of photos of our two cats led me to discovering a good auto-focus function on the Fuji X100.

I'd blogged before that I have found close up work to be quite poor, with autofocus struggling, but half way through this week, I set the camera to Constant mode autofocus, meaning once I'd set the target, the camera would do it's best to keep that target in focus. And it did quite a neat job.

Most of the shots this week were using off-camera flash too , triggered by cheap triggers and holding a speedlite in my left hand. Again, the X100 coped with that very well indeed.
