Mel & Jonny's wedding at The Glen

09th October 2013
Yay , another great wedding with a lovely couple and great friends & family around them.
Back to The Glen GC at North Berwick again, but for the last time this year. So we made sure we got a great bunch of photos, taking advantage of the scene & the sky. And that was without going on the beach once... no-one in this wedding wanted to get all sand... so it just shows you, you don't have to do the obvious stuff to get good photos.

A great looking couple helps mind :)

Also making a guest appearance below is Dave from The Glen.. a season parting gift from me to the staff at The Glen for all this year's good times and the great service they offer to wedding couples.
(free pint heading my way lol)

So Mel & Jonny's wedding was held completely inside the Glen, with around 80 guests watching the humanist ceremony by John Bishop (no , not that one... this one wasn't a Scouser - but was every bit as fun).

We'd arranged to do the photos in a kind of backwards way to suit how Mel & Jonny wanted the day to go... so straight after the ceremony, while the guests all got served a drink at the bar, we nipped of to North Berwick's Lodge Grounds for 20 minutes and grabbed our first batch of cool photos.
For someone that confessed to having a Monica/Chandler photo smile, and wasn't keen on any posed pictures, Mel was a star in front of the camera, and looked gorgeous. Jonny was every bit the handsome groom too mind !

We did all the family shots after dinner, then a few minutes up to the top of the glen to catch the sunset.

Great day & night.

So here's a selection of the photos and the slideshow... and if you tune in here regularly at all , you'll know that friends & family can get the password for the full portfolio that is in the Gallery section now... from the newly weds.
