Lynnsey & Norrie's wedding at East Saltoun

12th September 2013
Lynnsey & Norrie were married at East Saltoun Church - another wedding photography first for me for this on in East Lothian, and the day was just lovely.
Everyone was a bit nervous the night before as extremely high winds ripped through the area, but on the day, we were blessed with a great day, just overcast enough to suit the photography.
Barring a small timing slip up (Norrie!) everything went well.
The service was lovely and we got through the formal pictures before sending the guests along to the reception at Whitekirk Golf Club.

I then got a nice quiet bit of time with our new , lovely, Mr & Mrs Innes. We spent 10 minutes or so just outside the church, before stopping off at Hailes Castle for some more pictures.

I had to be a bit more on my toes here, as time was starting to run out... Whitekirk would be expecting the newly weds soon and there were some dark skies gathering... but I knew the kind of shots we were after, so as I barked out standing orders to Norrey & Lynnsey, I darted around the ramparts for my angles. The birds in the sky in one of the shots were a lucky bonus :) Our couple were very obliging - but it paid off with some groovy pictures... giving us the complete set of fun, loving & dramatic photos.

So here's to the new Mr & Mrs Innes... the full portfolio is online now, and as per usual, friends & family can get the password from L&N to view the Gallery.

Shout out to Roger West the live singer of the night too... great vocals from a lad I've known since he was a wee nipper.
Also to the staff at Whitekirk - excellent as usual... and to the great piper I keep seem to meeting... Alastair Campbell.
