Last pre-wedding shoot for 2015

10th October 2015
If you're involved with weddings at all - especially if you are actually having one - you won't have been short of people telling you how fast the day will come, and how quick it flies past as well on the day itself.
It's true enough, with all the planning, stressing, excitement and then the emotions of the day... it's a year away one minute, then it's midnight on your wedding day and you're thinking "Wow, that's it... it's all done!"

Our working year is like that we meet couples all the time, do pre-wedding shoots, help plan the day, then shoot the actual wedding , and all too soon a whole year of pre-shoots and weddings have past.

Yesterday (Thursday 8th Oct) saw one of those landmarks reached as we wrapped up the last pre-wedding shoot FOR 2015. Notice I said FOR 2015 , not of 2015.
I've a pre wedding shoot on Sunday 11th and one on Friday 16th but these are the start of our 2016 season.

How mad is that ?!

It feels like we've just got into 2015 and here we are whizzed past all those fabulous weddings we've covered and we're in the closing stages of the year already.

It was a hoot yesterday with Allanagh & Michael, their wedding in November will be a blast. A November trip to the ever gorgeous Barony Castle just outside Peebles.
I won't want the year to end. But is has to I suppose, all good things must come to an end they say and with this pre-shoot done, we're beginning to close the book on 2015 - whilst at the same time starting a new chapter with the first pre-wedding shoots of 2016.

Certainly mad.
So in the blinking of an eye will I be writing a similar blog this time next year ?
Jings - I'll be 50 ! 50 ! I know - I only look 25 ish... ok , maybe 49.
That's because I am 49 mind.

So here's to the beginning of the end of 2015, and the beginning of the beginning of 2016 !
