Kirsty & Richards wedding at Castleton Farm

06th May 2018
This was a wedding that had a location/venue switch quite late on in the planning stage, but what a venue to find and have a wedding at... the views were stunning.
With Tantallon Castle in front of the guests, and the Bass Rock just off the coast and the private beach (it must be the closest on land you can be to the Bass Rock), Richard & Kirsty's wedding was going to be amazing.

Oh , and we have amazing blue skies and a perfect temperature.

The prep at Kirsty's parent's house ran on a bit so I had to bolt rather hastily along the road to Castleton Farm to get there just before the girls arrived.

The Humanist ceremony was lovely, and it was a real treat knowing for probably the first time this year that we were going to have nice weather for the full day.
Once all the formalities were taken care of, we spent a few minutes getting some nice scenic shots of our beautiful bride and her handsome groom, before handing them across to the catering team for speeches and meal.

I know Kirsty's family well , having worked with them before, and Kirsty's dad is an old acquaintance too. It's always nice to keep connections going.

I enjoyed being at this fabby location so much that I went back out on Sunday morning. This had nothing to do with the fact I'd left my brand new flash and it's pole outside the marquee. The last time I did that was at Marshal Meadows in Berwick when I actually had to swerve around a light on a stand while driving home thinking "who leaves stuff in the middle of the road like that???" , yeah , it was me.

Anyway , it was safe.

So here's to Kirsty & Richard and their rather marvellous wedding...

Here's the highlights slideshow from the day... and below that you can find the link to see all the photos in the Gallery. You can even order prints directly from there too.
