Joan & Roy's wedding at Keavil House

13th December 2012
Wednesday was the last date in the foreseeable future that had one of those peculiarities about it... you know last year it was 11/11/11 , but this year's was the 12th December... 12/12/12.
No such date next year... we'll all be long gone before the next set :)
Anyway, Joan & Roy had chosen this date for their wedding at The Keavil House, near Dunfermline.

A lovely still & frosty day for this small gathering of loved ones.
The ceremony had to start at 11am... which in itself made for a strange, stretched out day, but everyone in attendance still had a lovely time... so we agreed to see what photo would fall into the special time slot of 12 minutes past 12, so 12:12 on 12/12/12.
My camera time is fairly accurate so it was nice to see what we were doing at the special time.

The Keavil House is a great venue, large enough to cope with very large weddings, but with a fine staff that gave everyone the care & attention that makes a good difference.

So as the early morning prep moved us into the early ceremony, which then took us to a 1pm wedding breakfast and then an early first dance, Joan & Roy spent time with their friends on the day they had chosen to show their devotion... aw, I'm getting all soppy lol.

This was my last wedding for 2012, maybe I'm getting too emotional after what's been a fantastic year.

Anyhoos... here's a preview of Joan & Roy's photos, with the full portfolio online in around a week.
Big hugs & kisses to Joan & Roy.... and indeed to all the couples that have honoured me with being their photographer at their special day.

Happy Christmas to you all !

x G.

Oh ... and the 12:12 12/12/12 photo ? This one...
