Jill & Andy's wedding at Barony Castle, Peebles

24th July 2014
I'm a bit out of sync just now... Jill & Andy's wedding was last Thursday, then I shot Deborah & Barry's wedding on Saturday, before flying off to join a cruise ship for a two week break (well... kind of break :) ).

Usually both these weddings would have been almost finished by now, but seeing as I have limited computing equipment here, and very poor wifi I'm making do as best I can.

So this blog is to keep Jill, Andy and all their friends & family in the loop on how the whole portfolio is doing, and to give a preview of what will be in our Gallery Section in 2 weeks.

Deborah & Barry's blog will hopefully follow in a day or two.

So... Barony Castle. Not been there in 2 years. Great venue for a wedding with fabulous outside locations for exciting, dramatic shots.

I'd met up with Jill & Andy for the first time on the Tuesday, as the live in Vancouver and just to marry near Jill's family's Scottish roots.
Mind you , this was a very international bunch !

The wedding day went fully to plan. A nice build up to the ceremony with the girls & guys getting ready on site, a nice ceremony and lots of chill out time for photos before the wedding breakfast & dancing.

Our newly weds and their best maid & man were great during the photo shoot, and were adventurous enough to get some great pictures.
It really is worth a little effort to get those special shots, and this is the kind of portfolio I aim to give every couple.

Big thanks to the families for having me around... hope you all like these samples, and I'll be in touch in around 2 weeks to advise of the full portfolio being ready to view.

I've now got the horrible duty of more dolphin spotting while we sail off the coast of Spain on the way to Nice....

The full portfolio is now in our Gallery Section, friends & family can get the password from Jill & Andrew to view - and if you like order copies.

G.x (international wedding photography blogger).
