Jenni & Sean's wedding at Carberry Tower

24th June 2015
My first wedding photography at Carberry Tower this year, and it was - as always - a good un !
It was Jenni & Sean's day, and as usual I arrived ahead of schedule to set up, get a feel for the day, weather, how the rooms are set up - meet up with Jenni & the girls, and get cracking with the day.
The prep & morning went along just as smooth as was planned, as I scuttled up and down the stairs getting shots of girls whilst waiting on the guys to arrive.
When Sean and his groomsmen arrived - there was a slight hiccup - as before I fired off a warning photo across the bows, I noticed there were no button hole flowers in any of the guys smart attire.... Woops - they'd left them back at home.
Time would have been against us - I offered my car to one of the ushers to nip back and get them, but all credit to the staff at Carberry - well to Amy - who stepped up to the plate and drove off to collect the missing flowers. Sorted.

This caused a tiny glitch in our photos , but it wouldn't be a wedding without something making the day that little bit more exciting.

So, the ceremony was soon under way, we were announced to the new Mr & Mrs Purves, and before you knew it , everyone was sipping champers in the rose garden, before I took Jenni & Sean away for their first quiet alone time since being married.

The afternoon turned to evening and everyone was having a ball. Sean & Jenni played along extremely well to my requests for regal like photos in the library, then we made our way down to prepare for the dancing.

I must point out that my usual assistant couldn't be with me on this wedding, but Jenni & Seans daughter Lily was more than up for the task, and the photo of Amy, Jenni & Sean was hers - a possible future photographer there ?

So, another great day with a good bunch of people all intent on having a good time.

Here's a sample of the pics, and the full portfolio is in our Gallery Section now. Jenni & Sean have the password.
I hope you like the slideshow above too.
