Heather & Gareth's wedding at Melville Castle

23rd March 2018
Given that we had just come through some of the coldest and snowiest weather in a while, I don't think anyone was exactly expecting it to be a fine sunny day for Heather & Gareth's wedding.
But to be honest , other than a few angry snow flurries, it was actually a nice day.

I started in Tranent for some prep (and Lola) photos, before heading along the road to Melville Castle. Yes it was snowing when I got there, then sunny, wee bit snow again... sunny... you get the idea.
But once we got the ceremony underway and everyone chilled over some champers and nibbles, the sun was making a good effort and we got almost everybody out the back of the castle into the gardens for some confetti photos , and even a 360 pic (below).

While I was giving our newly weds some deserved alone time and setting up for the next part of the day, it got quite snowy again... and I thought that would make for a romantic photo outside, but by the time I'd found Gareth & Heather, it was full on sunshine again.
So we went with the flow.
A wee trip around some of my favourite spots of the Castle then I let the new Mr & Mrs Glyn free to be piped in by two bagpipers, into their wedding breakfast.

A fabby wedding and all very relaxed and happy.

The slideshow of the day is here...
And below that there's a link to view all the photos, and you can even order prints directly if you fancy a sneaky wee print for your photo album.
