Hazel & Colin's wedding at The Dunmuir, Dunbar

15th October 2015
Hazel & Colin's wedding was always going to be a fun day.
When you get a couple that are so relaxed together, and obviously enjoy being in each other's company - and are fun to be around, you can bet the wedding will be thoroughly enjoyable.
And that it was ...
It was all relaxed with the girls in the morning, and it was only when Colin & best man Murray rolled up in Rolls Royce that there were the first signs of nervous anticipation, Maid of Honour Donna caught having a few wee tears.

But it was all good. We were soon onto the ceremony, for the 2nd week in a row performed by my old friend Rev Twaddle - who himself had just married the previous day.

Being in this mild October, we set off for photos - this time down to Belhaven as Colin & Hazel had asked for the Bass Rock to be in a shot or two... who am I to miss out on a dramatic wedding photo :)

Once we'd finished playing around by Belhaven, I got the newly weds, Donna and my assistant for the day, back to the hotel , where , after a few family shots, Phil & Lesley took over proceedings and warmly let the wedding afternoon unfold into an easy afternoon.
After the wedding breakfast, myself and the new Mr & Mrs Stewart (Hazel & Colin in case you hadn't worked that one out) jumped into my car and nipped off to the harbour. We had these ideas for gorgeous red skied behind Dunbar Castle, as they stood cuddling, but unfortunately it was more your typical October mirk by then.
It was still worth it, still a laugh, and I whisked the happy couple back in time for cake cutting, dancing, bouquet tossing and dancing !

A perfect day, and a lovely happy couple to be with.

So the slideshow is up there for you to have a look at ^^^ and some more pics down below. The full portfolio is in our Gallery Section now. You'll need the password from Hazel & Colin to view them all once they are live.

But in the meantime, here's to the new Mr & Mrs Stewart - Hazel & Colin !

Music during the day and at night supplied by the talented David Currie of Eccose Entertainments, and that gorgeous car by Nick Dannaher of Pride and Joy Cars (both in our links section)
