Glorious wedding weather at open air Biel

03rd July 2011
Saturday's wedding between Yvonne & John had been planned to be at the old chapel of Biel House in East Lothian. A huge mansion steeped in history, and still mostly un-heard of, as it is privately owned. The grounds and surrounding area are absolutely stunning - mostly from the hard work of our groom here... John.

It would make a great wedding venue, and I have mentioned that (so long as I get photographic exclusivity lol , I wish!).

The chapel itself is only the floor , as it is all open to the elements after that side of the house was demolished many years ago, so we'd hoped for some good weather.

We got it in spades, I even came away from a wedding ceremony with a well sunburned face.

Rev Twaddle from Belhaven Parish Church (remember him, he wed Ali and I 21 years ago) presided over the ceremony and it was a lovely affair set to the most remarkable surroundings.

All the best to Yvonne & John... great couple again.
