Christen & Joseph's wedding at Dalhousie Castle

05th November 2017
Small is beautiful.

This was the smallest wedding I'd shot. 9 people, but that includes me, the two videographers (urgh) and Marilyn the Humanist celebrant... so really a wedding of 5 people.
But it was lovely.
Christen & Joseph had flown over from Canada with the bare minimum of baggage & people to have an amazing wedding at the gorgeous Dalhousie Castle.

The Castle seemed very quiet. There were a few other guests dotting about now and again, but on the whole it seemed like we had the whole world to ourselves... well at least the bit around Dalhousie :)

Once Andrew had announced Christen into the chapel, Marilyn got the ceremony under way and our newly weds were soon a happy married couple.
Having the freedom of this amazing wedding venue gave us the peace to photography Christen & Joseph , and their small wedding party inside and out.

This wedding was a real lesson in what you need to have a beautiful wedding.
Not hundreds of guests and lots of pomp and ceremony, you don't need a big band or DJ and a fleet of stretch limos...
All you need is your best friends and top photographer... ok.. maybe not the last bit... but you get my jist.

Having all these extras is good, but they are just that. Extras. Christen & Joseph had a beautiful wedding, and I was delighted to be a part of it.

Here's the slideshow highlights, and below that you can find a link that will take you to a Gallery to view all the photos... you can even order copies direct (mind the international postage if your in Canada ;) ).
