Cheryl & Martin's wedding at Murrayshall in Perth

08th July 2015
This Friday wedding was always destined to be hot & sunny, and the forecast was proving to be right. What wasn't predicted though was Cheryl being blighted with a stomach bug on the morning of the wedding.
I arrived before 11am to find Cheryl an odd colour and barely able to talk.
But big up to Cheryl - and to her two bridesmaids - and her family for the strength of character shown to steadily fight through the morning and get on with the day.
With lots of determination, the day went along almost exactly as planned, just a few minor tweaks to photo & video workflows.

Cheryl's dad looks on with love & care as she takes a moment to gather her energy before heading along to the wedding ceremony.

The ceremony was brilliant, a traditional Scottish ceremony took place first , before an official registrar came along and did all the legal bits.
All in scorching sunshine, just as if to make Cheryl fight for every ounce of energy.
But with good family & friends around them, Cheryl & Martin tied the knot and the day went extremely well considering.

Murrayshall is a striking venue, surrounded by 2 golf courses, so yeah - there's lots of golfy types around :) But that aside, it's a marvelous building. I was only there for a short wedding on this occasion, would be nice to be back there for a full dayer, and get some nice bride & groom pics around the big house.

But this day was all about the new Mr & Mrs Reid. A day that was filled with moments of worry & anxiety, but those were overcome with the love and happiness shown by everyone.

Big hugs and admiration to Cheryl & Martin x

Here's a sample of the photos just now, and the slideshow above.
The full portfolio is in our Gallery Section now , where friends & family can view & order copies if they like, once they have the password from our happy couple.
