Catherine & Ally's wedding At Dunglass Estate

13th April 2018
Our first wedding at Dunglass for this year, and it was a nice small affair for Catherine & Alistair. The ceremony was in the church as per normal, but like the out of season weddings there, the afternoon/evening parts of the day were all in the house, with a nice cosy feel for all the guests.

As is normal for me , I arrived ahead of schedule so I could check the grounds out and work on a plan (with back up plans) for the day. With the weather we've had of late, today's wedding fell on the sole day of sunshine amongst long spells of rain and cold weather, so it was a nice treat to roll up at Dunglass on such a nice day.
Some of the daffodils had even popped open for us.

I spent some time with the girls, but then set about patrolling from house to church to cottages so I could catch the guys when they were ready and get nice scenic shots.

Before long the Ally was at the front of the church waiting nervously for it all to start ... then Cath arrives and we go through a very sweet ceremony led by humanist Sheena Johnston.

After all the official bits , we came out to our usual Dunglass exit with confetti parade and 360 pano photo before heading over to the house where we did a small number of family photos.

We didn't have an abundance of time to spend wandering the grounds but we still had a quick walk around for some nice bride &groom pcs, before I let Cath & Ally chill for the rest of their day with all their families & friends.

Another great day. Huge thanx to Cath & Ally for having me there.

Here's the slideshow of the day... and below that is a link to the Gallery where you can view all the photos and even order prints directly. They'll come straight to your door - usually next working day.
