Carberry Tower wedding photography
14th June 2015
This Friday sees me back at Carberry Tower to do the wedding photography for Jenni & Sean. It will be my first visit there this year , but the first of nine (at last count) in the months ahead.
Carberry Tower is on my list of favourite/most visited list of wedding venues so here's a summary and example photographs of why... number 2 in my series of "Favourite Wedding Venues".
Carberry Tower is set in large grounds, and once again I may look at this from a photographer's point of view, but all the points are valid for weddings being held there anyway. The large grounds are surrounded by trees, maybe not enough to say woodland, but enough to give shelter, so that if you were to have blustery weather on your big day, a lot of that will be negated by the trees, you can, on almost any day, take a nice stroll around the grounds, up to the pond and bridge, and depending on what time of year you are there, you will be treated to various floral delights.
In the Spring, the daffodils surround the grounds, and while the season moves on different plant life bursts alive, with the rose garden behind the main house being in full bloom all summer.
There's lots of space to get those quiet moments away from everyone - so after the 100mph wedding preparations and ceremony, you can relax in the arms of your new spouse for some relaxed photos.
Group shots can easily be catered for either outside - or in one of the amazing & interesting rooms inside.
I very often use one of the libraries or music rooms for some romantic bride and groom portraits - sometimes even for some fun shots of the wedding party & friends.
The staff at Carberry are seasoned and know how the day should run - and they will ensure it is fully enjoyable for you and all your guests. It is one of the things I always like to see - the newly weds being well looked after so I know they will be peaceful and happy in all their photos.
The staff at Carberry are excellent and fit into that mould nicely.
So if you fancy a romantic castle type wedding, set in beautiful grounds, but close to a main city for transport... Carberry Tower fits that bill well.
And if you want a wedding photographer that will capture everything in a friendly, fun & professional way... well I know a company that can do that for you too :)
On a side note, I mentioned at the start of this blog that I'm there this Friday for Jenny & Sean's wedding. We did the pre-wedding shoot just recently up Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh, and I mentioned I was last up Arthur's Seat a year ago - with a couple who - as it turns out - also got married at Carberry Tower - that couple is Ashley & Lee - and it's actually their first anniversary today !
A world of coincidence or fate ?
Happy anniversary Mr & Mrs Marr anyway :) x
