Amy & Greg's wedding in Dunbar

10th September 2014
Ah, 2 weeks in a row a pretty young couple , with a young daughter, the same afternoon (dinner) venue and the same piper even... they even had the same photographer ! Well of course they did, or I wouldn't be here typing this out :)

Amy & Greg had their ceremony at Dunbar Parish Church, but before that, I caught up with Amy and all the flower girls at mum's house.
Amy was really relaxed, and the kids were having a ball. I made sure they all got to know me and we had a laugh together so they wouldn't give me a hard time later on!

Amy got into her wedding gown just before I left for the church and she looked amazing, we got a nice set of pictures there very easily, with there being a few good spots of natural light, and a pretty bride.

Off to church and I catch up with daughter Annie who was assisting again at the church and photo sessions afterwards.
Rev Stevenson is a photographer's dream to work with "do what you want, go up , down move me out the way.... it's all about what the couple want."
Now I wouldn't get in the way or ever ask a celebrant to shift out my way for a photo, but to know you have freedom to capture the love & emotion on the day was great.
I'm back there again in December, so it will be hunky dory then too.

The ceremony was a hoot. The hyper kids while being fast on their feet, didn't interrupt the proceedings and everyone just got on with the wedding in their own way.

Once all done and dusted, we grabbed a few family shots outside, sent the guests of to The Rocks for a pint while we nipped back in for a peaceful few photos in the church, then down for 10 minutes to Belhaven Beach for a few dramatic skylines.
Amy, Greg & Niamh did what they had to do for the photos, I thanked them for their good work "Yay well done newly weds - lol" and we met up with the guests at The Rocks for the wedding breakfast.

Job done. Another great day, and another good portfolio.
The full selection is in our Gallery Section now - and you can get the password from Amy & Greg to view them - and even order copies directly.

Here's a sample to whet your appetite though...
