3 seconds to capture your day...

28th August 2015
Your wedding day will go past you in a flash.
If you're planning a wedding you'll probably have had lots of people tell you that it will come around quick , and on the day it will go even faster.

It's true though. The wedding day is so full of excitement, nerves, giggling & laughing, emotion and drama. It all unfolds like lots of mini stories as part of a big movie.
One minute you're sipping Prosecco with your friends early in the morning... then before you know it you're saying goodbye to your friends at the end of your reception.

Booking a wedding photographer is usually one of the first things organised after the date, the venue and of course... the dress.
Wedding photography can be classed as a luxury service.
In the same way you wouldn't turn up to your wedding in jeans and an old shirt, it's one of those things that can be seen to be expensive, but in most cases you do indeed get what you pay for.

But who do you entrust with this important task ?
Your photographer is one of the few people who will be with you from early in the morning right through to sometimes 9pm.
Good photographers know venues inside out, how weddings work, what will happen next, what to do if an awkward situation arises, and at times they act as chauffeurs, wedding planners and making sure you move from each section of the day painlessly, while making sure you enjoy your day.

A daytime wedding package that covers from the prep in the morning, through to the meal at the start of the evening will produce on average 375 photos.
That's our rough average of the number of photos you'll receive fully edited within 2 weeks of your wedding.
Now here's the stato part... our average shutter speed is 1/125 second.
A very small fraction of a second.

That means a photographer is capturing the whole wedding in 3 seconds.

3 seconds that captures the excitement & nerves as the girls get ready, mum all teary.
Dad seeing his beautiful girl in her wedding dress for the first time, then he gets to walk her down the aisle.
The Groom's face, lit up with a hug smile and holding back the tears as he sees his bride approaching.
The looks of love the bride & groom share as they say their vows...

The howls & hoots of laughter as your friends & family gather around you after the ceremony.

Then some quiet time.
The photographer sneaks you away for 15 minutes. Those precious first moments together away from all the noise & energised family members as you can chat quietly with one another.

The Dad's speech... the nervous Groom's speech and the dreaded Best Man's speech !

All those moments are captured in your average daytime wedding package, and all in a total of 3 seconds.

3 seconds that will be photographed and with you for the rest of your lives.
A wedding album that you can show to your grandchildren. And all the photos shown inside taken with just 3 seconds of the most amazing day.
